Next2 came highly recommended by a friend of The Annoyer. It seemed to be one of the nicer establishments in Positano.
Sfogliatella
Sfogliatella is an Italian pastry that resembles a lobster tail. It is famous in Naples, but we did not have enough time to check out the popular bakery known for sfogliatella. This was probably the closest we got to this delicious flakey pastry. Here it was savory and simply filled with ricotta, served with a light marinara. I really enjoyed it.
Pulpo Arrostito, Sedano Rapa e Patate Viola
Another tender octopus dish with a little more delicate char compared to Il Ritrovo. The turnip puree was creamy and smooth. The purple potato chips added delicious contrasting texturing. Very nice.
Tre Assaggi della Tradizione
This selection of 3 traditional starters was a nice sampling of a mini pizza, eggplant parmesan, and stuffed zucchini blossoms. All nice little bites but nothing too wow.
Linguine, Gamberi, Vongole e Broccoletti
The creamy, but light vegetal sauce was a nice pairing with the seafood. 
Lobster Fettucelle
The pasta was just the right amount of al dente. The tomato and seafood flavors were light. I would have liked more lobster meat.
Cioccolato Fondente, Nocciole e Lampone
The complementing flavors and contrasting texture of chocolate brownie, chocolate and hazelnut mousse made for tasty sweet end.
Petit Fours
Had I known we would get these I probably would not have ordered dessert. We were stuffed since we had a late afternoon “snack” that kind of filled us up.
Next2 was probably one of the better meals we had during our stay in Positano. Pastas were delicious in their simplicity and spot on execution. Portions were a bit on the smaller side and prices were bit high, but this is consistent with the fancy ambiance they aim to deliver.
