I just found this by looking to see what had good reviews close by. It was such a short walk from our hotel, which made it so convenient. Walking is probably not the intended means of transportation in this part of the Amalfi Coast, since sidewalks and shoulders are nonexistent and cars drive dangerously close to each other in opposing directions.

I really enjoyed the variety of offerings in this mixed plate of different types of fresh and marinated seafood. Flavors were light. This really seemed to be the theme in the Amalfi Coast. Seafood was always really fresh too.
Mezzi Paccheri Pastai Graganesi ragu di scorfano, coccio e ricciola
This was my second time enjoying paccheri pasta. These large tubes were delightfully chewy and the fish ragu packed a lot of fishy flavor from kingfish, scorpionfish, and a 3rd fish I’ve never heard of, tub gurnard.
Tagliatelle Gentile ai Funghi Porcini, Nocciole di Giffoni, Pepe Rosso di Szechuan gentile tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, giffoni hazelnuts, szechuan red pepper
Porcinis were in season and this was quite the contrast from the last dish. Tomatoes and fish packed a big punch, while the fresh porcinis were very light and delicate in flavor. The hazelnuts were an interesting textural contrast. The Szechuan peppercorn was ever so slightly subtle.
Another pleasing meal in Positano. Pastas were al dente. Flavors were well executed. I suppose the recurring theme for the food in Positano, is solid all around, but nothing wow. Even though there was nothing to write home about here, I could still eat it everyday.
