We visited the Blue Lagoon earlier in the day and worked up a nice appetite when lunch rolled around.   From the marina area, the restaurant didn’t look too far of a walk.  Boy did we regret trying to be Cheap Man Charlies and skip the easy bus ride here.  I can’t remember the last time I climbed so many stairs to get somewhere.  I was short of breath and feeling so parched.  Luckily, it wasn’t too hot that day.

Can’t say I’ve had this pasta shape before, but it was very thick and chewy.  I loved it.  Incredibly simple.

Like with all seafood pastas in this area, the dish ran salty.  By now, I’ve accepted this since it became the recurring theme at every restaurant.  I’m sure a nice glass of wine would have helped cut the heavy seasoning.  Alas, I do not like drinking in the middle of the day.  The best part of this dish was, of course, that perfectly al dente pasta.

Major props to the housemade pasta.  I loved it.  I can’t say there was much else unique going on here, but I would come back for their convenient location and straightforward menu.
