Gelaaati di Marco
Carrer de la Llibreteria 7
08002 Barcelona, Spain
There’s a lot of delicious food to be found in the Gothic district. The key word is FIND. The multitude of snaking alleyways that make up the Gothic quarter can make it challenging. If you’re not really paying attention you could easily get lost here. They had many interesting flavors here.
Mango, Watermelon, Banana
The Annoyer opted for fruit flavors all around. Thick, creamy, delicious.
Milanès ricotta fresca, saffron, crunchy pistachios
Mandorla Affogato madagascar vanilla, crispy almond with coffee and salted caramel
Crema Catalan
I opted for creamier flavors. I enjoyed the added texture from the candied nuts in the milanes and mandorla. Crema Catalana was a cinnamon infused flavor that was a bit disappointing.
Overall I felt Gelaati di Marco was the best of the two gelato places we visited in Barcelona. No need to go out of your way for this place but if you’re in the Gothic Quarter and craving ice cream than it will satisfy your craving.
